From location planning to final gallery delivery, every step is thoughtfully handled so you can stay present and enjoy the process.
You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images easily within a few weeks of your session.
If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll reschedule. Flexibility is built in so sessions stay enjoyable and low-stress.
If you’re able to, try to feed your baby shortly before the session begins so they’re comfortable and sleepy. Breaks are expected, and these sessions are designed to move at your baby’s pace. Here are a few helpful things to have nearby:
– Diapers and wipes
– Bottles or feeding supplies
– A pacifier, if your baby uses one
– An extra outfit for baby, and possibly one for you
Sessions typically last about an hour. That gives us time to settle in without feeling rushed, and keeps things manageable for little ones.
Sessions can take place outdoors around Huntsville and surrounding areas, or my indoor studio depending on the session type and season. We can also shoot at your home, it’s totally up to you! Some of my favorite places to shoot around Huntsville include the Botanical Garden, Hays Nature Preserve, Historic Downtown, and Delano Park. I’ll help you choose a location that fits the feel you’re going for.
I’ll share guidance once you’re booked, but the short answer is something comfortable, neutral, and familiar. For group shoots, coordinating beats matching every time.
That’s completely fine. Sessions are designed with kids in mind, and there’s no expectation for perfect behavior. We work with whatever happens, and often the messy moments are the ones we find make the memorable shots.
